About this website

I’m David Mizrahi, an independent designer and developer based in Québec, Canada. This website shows my services, creative approach and portfolio.

These terms explain how the website is used and how I normally approach project discussions. They are not a complete contract for paid work. A project’s specific terms are established in an accepted proposal or other agreement; applicable law may also recognize agreements formed in other ways.

What I offer

My services include brand identity, UI design, Webflow websites, Figma-to-Webflow development, Webflow migration and custom static websites. Each project is different, and not every feature or platform is suitable for every brief.

An email inquiry or estimate request does not, by itself, oblige either of us to begin work. Before a project starts, I aim to confirm its scope, deliverables, platform, responsibilities, schedule and fees.

Scope, reviews and client materials

The project agreement should identify the pages, designs, functionality, deliverable formats and any agreed revisions or review stages. Requests outside that scope may require a new estimate or timeline, which I will discuss before proceeding.

Clients provide the content, feedback, access and approvals needed for their project, unless we agree otherwise. They should have permission to use any text, images, trademarks or other materials they supply.

Timing and collaboration

I’ll communicate the expected stages of work and any dependencies before we start. Timelines may need to change if content, approvals, access or third-party services are delayed; I’ll discuss material changes with you.

A final review and approval process, including how corrections are reported and what counts as completion, should be included in the project agreement.

Pricing and external costs

Fees, deposits if any, payment stages, applicable taxes and accepted payment methods are set out in the project agreement. This website does not take payments or accept project orders automatically.

Domain names, hosting, Webflow subscriptions, paid fonts, stock assets, integrations or other third-party services may have separate prices and conditions. We should agree who purchases, owns and pays for each service before it is ordered.

Ownership, source files and licences

The written project agreement determines what you receive and which rights are assigned or licensed, including websites, design files, code and any editable source files. Payment alone should not be assumed to transfer rights that have not been agreed.

I may use reusable tools or components, and a project may rely on third-party software, templates or media with separate licences. You keep the rights to materials you provide. I will discuss permission before featuring confidential client work in my portfolio.

Launch, support and outcomes

Any agreed testing, accessibility targets, browser support, deployment, documentation, training, maintenance or post-launch assistance will be specified for the project. Ongoing support and hosting are not automatically included.

Search rankings, sales, conversions, external platform availability and future changes to third-party services cannot be guaranteed by the descriptions on this website.

Changes, cancellation and refunds

If a project is paused, changed or cancelled, the parties’ rights and any payment for work performed are determined by the project agreement and applicable law. We should discuss the effect of changes or cancellation as early as possible.

I do not impose a universal “non-refundable deposit” rule through this website. Nothing here limits cancellation, refund or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Portfolio and third-party links

Portfolio items may include personal concepts rather than commissioned client work. The site’s original writing, designs and images are shown for information and may not be reused without permission except as allowed by law.

Links to Behance, Webflow and other websites lead to independent services with their own policies. Please do not interfere with this website or its security.

Privacy and confidential information

The Privacy Policy explains how website requests and emails are handled. Please do not email passwords, secret access credentials, payment-card details or highly sensitive files.

For a project that involves confidential information, we can agree appropriate handling requirements separately before that information is shared.

Updates and questions

I may update these general website terms as my services change. They do not automatically replace or amend an agreement already made with a client. The applicable law and any mandatory rights continue to apply.
